Classes Offered...
From the dreams of being a ballerina, to the rush when you hear the applause, a student’s inspirations to dance are endless. As teachers, our inspirations come from guiding our students toward their goals and dreams and delighting in their accomplishments. We have designed a progressive curriculum to provide a quality dance education that enhances the life of a child far beyond the music and steps. The creative process encourages dancers to explore their imagination, think critically, work collaboratively and communicate in a new way. From a foundation of strong technique and the sheer enjoyment of dance, we feel the possibilities for our students are endless. It doesn’t matter where their dreams may take them; it all begins with the first step.
Mommy & Me ~ 18 months to 3 years ~ 30 minute class
Introduce your child to the magical world of movement and music. Available for students ages 18 months to 3 and a caregiver, each class promotes development in social, motor and cognitive skills. As you join your child each week, you will notice the improvement in their self esteem and confidence as they explore new and exciting activities with the security of you right beside them. Tap ~ Ages 5 through adult ~ 45 to 60 minutes depending on the level
Tap is a highly stylized dance form including variations such as Broadway, Buck, Hoofing, Rhythm and Soft Shoe. Tap utilizes percussive footwork, movements and sounds to create rhythmic patterns. Students begin with basic rhythms taught through creative themes and activities and progress to more intricate, fast-paced combinations.

Ballet ~ Ages 5 through adult ~ 45 to 90 minutes depending on level
Early elementary students will be introduced to this disciplined dance form through imaginative themes and activities designed for their age group. Truly the "backbone" of dance training, ballet develops strength, poise, coordination, flexibility, and expression. As dancers progress, it also enables students to understand the self-discipline needed to grow in all aspects of life. We recommend ballet training for all students studying other forms of dance. This will enhance their progress and allow them to receive the most benefits from each style. Details for current and/or upcoming sessions are available through the office or online.
Pointe
This class is available for advanced ballet students who have completed a minimum of one year of ballet enrichment class along with their weekly ballet class, have met the age and attendance requirements, and have passed a pointe evaluation. Once a student qualifies, year round study is required. A complete prerequisite for pointe is available at the studio. Boys' Jam ~ Ages 5 and up ~ 45 minute class
Boys' Jam is an exclusive class for boys that focuses on physical agility and coordination. Through a curriculum specifically designed for boys, tactile exercises and energetic activities are used to increase motor skills and improve rhythm and spatial awareness. Athletes can use the increased stamina, balance and dexterity to benefit sports skills. Boy's Athletic Boot Camp is also available each summer to focus on coordination fundamentals through the use of obstacle courses, relays and dynamic choreography. Mini Jazz ~ Ages 6 and 7 ~ 45 minute class
Comprised of the fundamentals of jazz and the technique of ballet. Mini Jazz will expose young students to jazz while utilizing the basic concepts of ballet to develop control and precision. Available for students age six by December 31 of the current year. Details for current and/or upcoming sessions are available through the office or online.
Jazz ~ Ages 7 through adult
45 to 60 minute class depending on level
This American-born dance form is a combination of several dance styles - from musical theater to hip hop to contemporary. It combines the use of torso and isolation movements and develops rhythm, strength and control. Although considered freer than ballet, jazz is also a structured dance form. Prior ballet training is recommended for all jazz students. Available for students age 7 by December 31 of the current year. Hip Hop ~ Ages 10 and up ~ 45 minute class
Hip Hop is a high-energy class that is designed to teach students combinations with an urban feel that includes a wide range of styles from popping and locking to krumping. Details for current and/or upcoming sessions are available through the office or online.
Modern ~ Ages 12 and up with prior ballet training ~ 60 minute class
Modern approaches movement with a unique combination of imagination, expression and technique. The class explores the fluid spirals and dynamic contractions used to create dance patterns, expressive movement, and spatial perception. Get Up & Dance! ~
Ages 5 and up ~ 40 minute class
Get Up and Dance! is a great opportunity for students to explore the world of dance. Easy, energetic routines to all styles of music are used, along with props such as hula hoops and streamers. Offered throughout the year, the class allows children ages 5 and up to enroll for a six-week session at any time. Dance apparel is not required. Participants wear comfortable clothing and clean tennis

Swing & Salsa ~ 45 minute class
Enjoy the energy of Swing and the smooth moves of Salsa during this 6-week class. No partner or experience is necessary. Register as a single, bring your friends or make it a date night with your special someone. This popular class is designed to leave you feeling confident every time you step out on the dance floor!
