We are excited to announce the newest chapter of the National Honor Society for Dance Arts at DCSD! The NHSDA is a nationally recognized honor society for students in grades 6-12. It is a way to recognize our dancers for their hard work and leadership skills gained through their efforts at DCSD.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?
Students who join our chapter of the NHSDA will hone their leadership skills, earn volunteer hours, and bolster their resumes by being part of the program! Even current 12th grade students are welcome to join. Participants will hone their leaderships skills, complete volunteer hours, bolster their resumes and earn honor cords for graduation. Dancers will be recognized for their involvement throughout the studio and our community.
HOW DO I JOIN?
Meet the requirements – Induction requires a 3.0 GPA, NHSDA activity points, enrollment in a minimum of one class at DCSD and a positive character evaluation.
Our callout meeting has already passed but anyone interested can ask the front desk or reach out to info@collierdance.com about joining. We’ll walk through everything you need to know about membership benefits, requirements, and next steps.
