Yesterday I attended your dance recital for the first time.  Actually, it was my first dance recital ever to attend.  I was amazed by the performance.  From the professional appearance of the costumes, the structure of the program, the discipline of the performers, and some of the outstanding abilities of many of the performers, it was a wonderful evening.

Thank you all you teachers and staff for all your hard work throughout the year to make the recitals so fun and special for everyone. It is so organized and well put together. All the dancers did their routines so well. My girls are already very excited for the new season!

I just want to say how much I love Debra Collier’s School of Dance!  I started dancing there at 17. Late! However, all of the instructors were great and helped me very much with all of my technique. I learned so much and even though I didn’t start dancing at 3 like most of the other dancers, they NEVER let me give up! I have my daughter in class and she loves it! It’s about more than just dance, it’s the relationships you make!

This dance school is TOPS! My daughter has learned so much and your school not only teaches dance but good life lessons as well! The professional and caring attitude is what makes it special, we are lucky to have access to this for our kids!

I wouldn’t have been able to pursue my dreams of becoming a dancer and becoming a Bachelor of Find Arts major in college if it wasn’t for Debra Collier’s School of Dance. Not only was I given wonderful technical training from the faculty, but I was also given so many opportunities that helped shape me into the person and dancer I am today. The teachers are so dedicated to helping us become everything we aspire to be and more.

The dance school was my home away from home growing up. I made so many amazing friends and developed an extended family many couldn’t even imagine! At 34 I am blessed to still have some of them in my extended family. Dancing is such a beautiful way to express yourself and here they encourage you to do just that. I will always be thankful for the art I was taught and the encouragement I was given!

I love this place and what it has done for my kids. Very positive, very encouraging, they honestly care about all the kids there.

I can’t thank the teachers enough for their dedication in making my daughter become such a great dancer.  She loves all the staff and we love being at Deb Collier’s!

Working with Collier’s School of Dance is always an extreme pleasure. The facility is top notch as well as the students are always eager to learn and have great discipline. I always look forward to returning to the studio to work in conjunction with the amazing Collier’s faculty on new and innovative dance education techniques.

My daughter has been dancing at Debra Colliers for 10 years. She loves it!! Debra Collier and the entire staff not only provides a friendly and inviting atmosphere but is also well educated in their field. I wouldn’t send Kaycee to any other dance school. Money well spent!

I just want to say we are so happy Taylor is at the studio this year. You all do such an AMAZING job with all ages of kids, rehearsals, recitals, and extra events that go on. I’m sure there will be much more that I will be impressed with in the future to come. My daughter has always loved to dance and to see her on fire this year with her dance. Well, let’s just say I know it’s because we are finally at the right studio. I don’t want to forget to say that the older kids are so fantastic with our kids. To have them be so positive and take the time to say hey Taylor, you are doing so great, given pointers on what could be improved. Thank you to everyone at Debra Collier’s School of Dance. We have been coming to your studio going on six years now.  Looking back and seeing the confident strong young girl our daughter is now, we know one of the best decisions we ever made was to send her to your dance studio. She’s physically active and strong in her daily life.  She’s confident and has high self esteem in herself to do anything she wants in and out of school. She also makes friends easily, and is a respectful, attentive student and person.  As a 2nd grader, she’s one of the youngest in age in her class but physically is top of her class.  We also feel all of the goes back to DCSD and the amazing skills she learns there and also the truly wonderful dance teachers that not only expect but give respect and guidance.

The teachers at DCSD are truly talented and it shows every year in the wonderful choreographed dances.  But the true strength, in my opinion, of this studio is the love and caring shown and given to all the children.  Not only are the teachers amazing with the kids, it’s passed down to the older dancers that are always so helpful and friendly to the younger students. They always make sure they are included and make sure to take care that they are where they need to be.

I’ve especially seen this first hand at off-site performances. The young kids can feel a bit lost at an event, not sure where to go or what to do, and it’s so inspiring to see the older kids take them by the hand.  I love that the DCSD teachers expect their students to be polite and respectful and give it in return.  I truly love everything about this studio.  They communicate beautifully with parents. Their system of teaching, protecting kids and running events is seamless like a well-oiled machine.

I spout my love for this studio any chance I get and as often as I can.  I have recommended DCSD to anyone and everyone. My husband and I feel it’s the best money we have ever spent on our daughter and feel the lessons learned will benefit her for a lifetime.

The instructors are what make this school shine! It is evident that they truly care for their students.  DCSD also puts on phenomenal recitals. Having volunteered backstage, I’m in awe at how much work goes on behind the scenes. Recitals are well planned and executed.

To be honest, we started dance as newbies and it was just a fun extracurricular activity to keep active. It didn’t take long to discover that my daughter really enjoyed it and especially loved the performance aspect. Even at an early age, she also liked the challenge of learning new dance steps and memorizing dance routines. It is so much more than dance though… it’s the confidence-building…the team aspect of working together to create something beautiful…the self-discipline that is learned by having to balance school, home and extracurricular responsibilities…and the pure joy of showcasing hard work at recital.

I feel that through dance I have learned many things such as time management, patience, endurance, strength and so much more. With the time and effort spent at the dance school, we all become like a family and truly one of a kind. I think that when it comes to the strength of the studio, technique is at the core of our curriculum! Starting off at a very young age we are taught  technique, before anything else, because once we have the technique then we can only build on our knowledge.

DCSD is a judgement free safe zone.  It doesn’t matter what age you are the teachers will help you progress and push yourself to your full potential!  At dance there is more than just dance. There are life lessons to last a lifetime! I honestly think it would be an off day if Miss Kristina wasn’t sharing her tidbits of wisdom or a quote she found to inspire us to push ourselves a little farther each day we go into dance.

In terms of the studio location, it would make more sense for us to go somewhere in closer proximity to where we live, but we’ve kept coming back for 10 years because my girls love the teachers and the dance instruction they’re getting.  I haven’t wanted to switch from an A+ school to a B or C grade program.
