Discipline and class are apparent as soon as your child’s first few trips to the studio take place.  The students who perform in off-season and competitive events are a reflection of the studio’s core values.  They realize they’re performing enough throughout the year that they are easily spotted as ‘public figures.’  They maintain the most professional bearing among all the other students that travel and perform at events.

This isn’t just a dance studio trying to figure out its business operation.  The studio goes full measure on executing its business matters utilizing the collective skills of its instructors and administrative support team! It gives parents comfort that there is sustainability in the studio so their child can count on DCSD for years to come!

Finally, I recommend, whether or not your son or daughter is part of Class Act Dance Troupe, that you see the annual troupe recital (usually mid/late April).  It’s an excellent show!

Debra Collier’s School of Dance is the most wonderful place. My daughter loves all the teachers she has had and has learned so much. She gets excited to do routine and practices all the time.  They have parent observation so you can see the progress and what they have learned. They always encourage you to be a part of everything. They are compassionate and care and are willing to help you in anyway.

I absolutely love Debra Collier’s school of dance. In the last 3 years of attending I have seen so much growth in my daughter.  The teachers are outstanding, committed and knowledgeable. They don’t just commit to teaching the kids dance, they help support emotional growth and personal confidence. I’ve been blown away with experience so far and can’t wait to continue watching my daughter grow with their help.

I can’t say enough good things about Debra Collier’s School of Dance and the faculty.  My oldest daughter joined the studio in 2003 while my youngest daughter dances there today.  Throughout the years the studio has always been welcoming and friendly while also instilling excellent discipline and technique into the students.  The faculty is supportive and attentive to all students, regardless of their level.  It is remarkable how well they know each student and everything they are dealing with both in and out of the studio.  Debra Collier’s School of dance has provided my daughters with opportunities to develop characteristics that will serve them well throughout their lives.  As a mom, I am beyond thankful for them and all they do!

I love Debra Colliers because it’s more than just a dance class, it’s a second family and home. Every teacher there treats the kids as their own. They are supportive and encouraging of every aspect of their lives. The staff truly cares about each student and their well-being. They only ever want what’s best for your child. If they need a friendly ear to listen to their struggles or even just about their day, every teacher and staff member is ready to listen. They celebrate every accomplishment and help through the struggles. There is no other place I would want my children.

My girls have been going to Debra Collier’s School of Dance for years and they love the dance school and the teachers. They have fun while learning different dance techniques, teamwork, and responsibility.

We love Debra Collier’s School of Dance because it is way more than my daughter learning a dance.  She is making life-long friends. She has confidence because of what she learns. It is like an extended family to both of us.

We love Debra Collier’s School of Dance so much. My daughter has learned so much, not only about dance, but about life as well. She’s grown so much since she started dancing there!  The teachers really care about her too!  It’s like family to us!

My favorite style of dance is tap.  It encompasses many different styles.  I grew up watching classic musicals like 42nd Street and Singin’ in the Rain.  But tap can also be modern. I love the combination of rhythm and athleticism.

The things I like most about the studio is the family atmosphere and regardless of the dancer’s age or level of dance, everyone is very supportive and encouraging.  I also like the level of maturity my daughter has reached since joining dance. Dance has taught her more than just the dance moves, but also a level of respect and many life lessons.

I am so very thankful to Debra Collier’s School of Dance for giving my daughter a place to grow.  She has learned to take her dancing passion seriously but has a lot of fun along the way.

I love to watch the jazz routines by Dance Etc.  I get so excited to watch the students perform around the community.  Also, I love that Dance Etc. is combine with hip hop and musical theater too.  The choreography is so fun to watch, especially with so many students in one class!
